Stephan R. Boehm (CEO)
Stephan is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management. He has been involved in all phases of
the firm's development since 2004 and serves the operational business of Emporis. His main focus is to
realize the company's expansion course while constantly expanding the customer base. As a serial
entrepreneur, Stephan has also been responsible for the growth of other successful IT companies in
recent years. Stephan is a member of the Emporis Standards Committee (ESC) and a member of the
Emporis Awards Jury. His native language is German and he is fluent in English. His hobbies include various
sport activities, music and architecture. Stephan holds a degree in Computer Sciences from Darmstadt University
of Applied Sciences.

Michael Wutzke (CIO)
Michael is Chief Innovation Officer and founder of Emporis. He used to work in the real estate industry,
is the author of the book Skyline Guide and has more than 18 years experience in dealing with aspects
related to building data and user communities. His fields of interest today include buildings, photography, and
mass data management that helps to build the Emporis data backbone which (in Michael's believe) can also
be vital for the next wave of Internet development: the rise of semantic searches. Michael is a driving
force behind Emporis' data standardization initiative to make building data universally accessible and useful.
Michael has a degree in machine building from LGS in Dieburg.

Brian Tonry (CMO)
Brian serves as Chief Marketing Officer. Before joining Emporis Brian Tonry was vice president, analytics/research and international
business development with McGraw-Hill Construction. He held a series of key leadership positions since
joining The McGraw-Hill Companies in 1997 in the company’s finance organization.
Prior to joining McGraw-Hill, Brian was with Dow Jones, where he was responsible for technology
and facilities management. Brian is the author of “Building Block,” published in the Microsoft
Executive Circle Magazine. He has also been cited in various Microsoft articles on such topics
as building for the future and managing risk. Brian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from
Mount Saint Mary’s University and an M.B.A. from Villanova University.
